To get an idea of how big it is, the "Fiestas de la Merce" in Barcelona last 6 days and in 2008 the budget was about 4 million euros. The population of Barcelona is three times that the one of Zurich so you can not imagine how happy is Swiss people when they see they taxes buring during the firework.
